Bruce opened Eccles Auto Service in 1984 with a commitment to providing exceptional automotive service. He is the driving force behind ensuring the reputation for quality he has built not only endures, but is improved upon. Bruce is a definite people person and always enjoys talking with and meeting new clients. He is an active member of the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship Award in 2005. Bruce also worked on a focus group created by the Ontario Government to assist in the implementation of the Drive Clean program and currently sits on the PSC advisory board for ACDelco. Bruce is well respected in the automotive industry and even writes a column in a national trade magazine.
Bruce and his wife have three children and the newest edition, their first grandchild Thomas!

Anne graduated from Parkside High School. She has three children and 5 grandchildren she is very proud of. Anne has developed a love for the game of golf and can be seen doing the par dance on many local golf courses. She is like our air traffic controller at the office. The word multitask was derived from her position at Eccles Auto Service. After hours Anne spends a lot of time performing volunteering duties with the local marching band and assists with fundraising for other town organizations.
Jeff is a Dundas boy and graduated from Parkside High School. He is our lead technician and was awarded with a plaque from the Ontario Government for highest marks in his group as an apprentice. Originally Jeff planned to pursue a career in agriculture and attended university for that purpose. While going to university he worked with us part time and soon found his love of cars and exceptional mechanical aptitude leading him on a new career path. Today he is considered one of the best technicians in the country. He proved this when he was a finalist in the ACDelco Technician of the Millennium I contest and then finishing top Canadian in the following Technician of the Millennium II contest in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jeff was awarded the 2005 “Canadian Technician of the year ” by Canadian Technician Magazine. This is a real honour as he was selected for this award by his peers! Jeff was nominated and won the 2009 Readers Choice Platinum Award for “Best Auto Technician” in the area.
In his spare time Jeff enjoys time with his wife and daughter. He also likes following NASCAR and NFL football with the largest big screen TV you can fit in a house!
David grew up in Dundas and graduated from Highland High School. Dave started his career at Westdale Toyota in the late 70s. Dave was a pretty good drag racer in the 1980′s, building his own car “The Canadian Acadian”. He took many trophy’s away from the track in Cayuga. David is recognized as one of the country’s best technicians. He has proven his diagnostics skills when he won the Central Canadian Division of the Technician of the Millennium IV contest. In fact David has gone to the semi finals three times.
When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family. David has a lovely wife and two daughters. He has also been involved for many years in the running of his church youth summer camp
Bruce’s son grew up in Ancaster and graduated from Ancaster High School. Scott first completed a two year business program at Niagara College and was on the Presidents list for obtaining the highest marks. Afterwards Scott entered the family business in 2003. Scott completed his apprenticeship from Mohawk College, receiving the “Top Automotive Service Technician Advanced Student” award in the process. Soon after he became a certified Automotive Service Technician. In 2007, Scott moved into the office to manage the new Uptown Eccles Auto Service location.
Scott enjoys his time off with his wife and 2 dogs. He enjoys playing baseball, hockey and snowmobiling.
Todd is a Dundas resident who loves to spend time with his two kids and two dogs. Todd began his apprenticeship with Eccles Auto Service at the age of 18, when it was only a 2 bay shop. Todd’s automotive career continued in Dundas and after honing his skills working in the industry he rejoined the staff at Eccles Auto Service in 2007. Todd is a well respected technician in the area. He was nominated in the 2009 Readers Choice Awards for “Best Auto Technician”.
Todd enjoys playing hockey all year round and dreams of owning a bass boat to pursue his favourite sport of fishing (even though he would not put a worm on the hook when he was a kid).
Claire graduated from Parkside High School and then Sheridan College. She looks after many of the “behind-the-scene” activities required to keep our business running smoothly since 1984. She puts great value on family and her friends! She is very active person, playing golf, softball, squash, tennis and loves to read at the cottage. Claire is a great cook. She is a very friendly vibrant person who makes friends wherever she goes.
Adam was born and raised in Burlington. He started his career at Eccles Auto Service as a Co-op student. Adam then signed on as a registered apprentice with Eccles Auto Service. He currently attends Mohawk College for the trade school portion of his apprenticeship.
Adam won gold in 2013 at a National Skills Competition held in Vancouver B.C. The competition was two days long, testing all aspects of the trade. It was Adams’ third time competing at Skills Canada Nationally and his 3rd Gold Medal. The first two were at the high school level.
Adam is also our resident I.T. department.
Matt grew up in Ancaster and graduated from Ancaster High School. He went to Mohawk College for his apprenticeship and is a certified Automotive Service Technician. Matt joined the staff at Uptown Eccles Auto Service in 2010. He continues to add to his automotive skills, becoming a Drive Clean Certified Inspector as well as going to training sessions throughout the year.
Matt spends his time off with his wife and dog. He enjoys playing golf and watching NASCAR.
Andy has spent most of his life in and around the Hamilton area. He has been in the automotive repair trade for over 25 years. Andy worked at Chrylser and Subaru before moving into general repairs. He joined the Eccles Auto team in 2011. Andy strives to stay on top of his game, continually attended update and training courses throughout the year.
Andy has a wife, 3 children and a dog. He enjoys working on and around his house and watching his kids playing sports. He likes to spend his free time taking in a book on his deck and binge watching Netflix.
Jim was born and raised inWestdale and graduated from Westdale High School. He started his career at City Chevrolet in downtown Hamilton and is a GM ASEP certified technician. Jim starting working at Uptown Eccles Auto Service in 2010. He brings his wealth of knowledge and experience for all vehicles under the GM banner with him.
Jim enjoys spending time with his fiance and their beautiful daughter. When not working he is playing hardball, hockey, golf or spending time relaxing at his cottage.
Chuck grew up in downtown Hamilton and is a Mohawk College Alumni. He lived in the east end for many years and currently resides in west Hamilton. Chuck has many years of experience as a Store Manager and Sales & Service Manager for Firestone/Bridgestone in Toronto and Hamilton. He is well known and respected in the automotive service industry. He is a Tire Expert and brings great customer service skills to his position at Eccles.
Chuck is a dedicated family man and together with his lovely wife have a daughter and son. Chuck enjoys videography, music, hockey, football, reading and long walks.
