Bruce Eccles


Bruce opened Eccles Auto Service in 1984 with a commitment to providing exceptional automotive service. He’s the driving force behind ensuring the  reputation for quality we’ve built not only endures, but is improved upon.

Bruce is an active member of the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship Award in 2005.

Bruce also worked on a focus group created by the Ontario Government to assist in the implementation of the Drive Clean program and currently sits on the TSS Advisory Board for ACDELCO. Bruce is well respected in the Automotive Industry and even writes a column in a national Trade Magazine.

Bruce is a definite people person and always enjoys talking with and meeting new clients.

Bruce has been noted to Sing a few Jimmy Buffet songs and enjoys the role of auctioneer.

Bruce would like to thank the community for their overwhelming support during his recovery!

Anne Durand


Anne graduated from Parkside High School. She has three children and a 2 Grandchildren she’s very proud of. Anne’s developed a love for the game of golf and can be seen doing the par dance on many local golf courses. She is like our air traffic controller at the office. The word multitask was derived from her position at Eccles Auto Service.

After hours Anne spends a lot of time performing volunteering duties with the local marching band and assists with fundraising for other town organizations.

Jeff Taylor


Jeff is a Dundas boy and graduated from Parkside High School. He is our lead technician and was awarded with a plaque from the Ontario Government for highest marks in his group as an apprentice.

Originally Jeff planned to pursue a career in agriculture and attended university for that purpose. While going to university he worked with us part time and soon found his love of cars and exceptional mechanical aptitude leading him on a new career path.

Today he is considered one of the best technicians in the country. He proved this when finishing top Canadian in the AC Delco Tech of the Millennium II contest in Charlotte N.C. Jeff was Awarded the 2005 “Canadian Technician of the year ” by Canadian Technician Magazine.This is a real honour as he was selected for this award by his peers!

Jeff is now a training instructor and assists in bringing our apprentices and also technicians across the province to his high technical level.

In his spare time Jeff enjoys following NASCAR and NFL football with the largest big screen TV you can fit in a house!.

Jeff was nominated & won the 2009 Readers Choice Platinum Award for “Best Auto Technician” in the area.

David Jaggard


David is recognized as one of the country’s best technicians. Starting his career at Westdale Toyota in the late 70s.

Dave was a pretty good drag racer in the 1980s. Building his own car “the Canadian Acadian”.He took many trophys away from the track in Cayuga.

He’s proven his diagnostics skills when he won the Central Canadian Division of the Technician of the Millennium IV contest.in fact David has gone to the semi finals three times running..

When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family.David has a lovely wife and two daughters.

Dave has been involved for many years in the running of his church youth summer camp!

Yes that is a real mustache!

Jeremy Fritchley


Jeremy is our most versatile team member.

He is a certified emissions inspector, service advisor, Lube technician and shuttle driver. An all round good guy!!

Jeremy is Married and recently purchased his first house! He is excited about being a home owner and looking forward to giving his new home some personal touches and getting a dog.

Jeremy is currently riding a bicycle to work as part of his new fitness plan! Watch for before & after photos.

Scott Eccles


Scott is the manager of our new location, Uptown Eccles Auto Service.

Scott completed 2 years of business at Niagara College and was on the Presidents list for obtaining the highest marks. After this, Scott wanted to get more involved with the “hands-on” aspect of working with cars and is now a Class “A” Automotive Technician. After years of apprenticeship and school at Mohawk College, we’re proud that Scott received his certification and an award for outstanding achievement, as chosen by his instructors!

He enjoys hockey,snowmobiling, water and downhill skiing and hits an occasional home run in softball.

Todd Kubas


Todd is a Dundas resident who loves to spend time with his kids. He coaches in local sports and dreams of owning a bass boat to pursue his favourite sport of fishing. (even though he would not put a worm on the hook when he was a kid)

Todd is a well respected technician in the area and continues to hone his skills with hours of training each year! He was nominated in the 2009 Readers Choice Awards for “Best Auto Technician”

Todd has a great sense of humour! We laugh at him all of the time.

Todd is a non smoker & likes long walks on sandy beaches& romantic candlelight dinners.

Claire Eccles


Claire looks after many of the “behind-the-scene” activities required to keep our business running smoothly.(government paper burden)

She puts great value on family & her friends! She is very active & plays golf, softball, squash, tennis, water skis and loves to read at the cottage! Claire is a great cook !She is a very friendly vibrant person who makes friends wherever she goes

Claire has often said “marrying Bruce was the best thing that has ever happened to me”
